Applications
NGK Ultra Beryllium Copper
Type of steel and characteristics:
Copper Beryllium Alloy containing less than 2% of beryllium, can achieve the highest strength (1500 MPa) and hardness of any commercial copper based alloy in the age hardened condition.
Applications:
Injection mould and high pressure blow moulds, insert in steel moulds for higher cooling rates at critical areas, inserts in aluminium moulds for higher strength and wear resistance, cooling inserts, nozzles and needles for hot runner systems.
